Undergraduate Students

Students are invited to apply for research assistant positions within the IMPACT Lab. Research opportunities for undergraduate students require a two-semester commitment of at least 6 hours/week.
Research assistant responsibilities vary depending upon the lab’s ongoing projects. General responsibilities often include, but are not limited to, recruitment, informed consent, data collection, lab meetings, required trainings, and communication with the research team. There are opportunities for undergraduate students to develop their own independent research ideas and projects if interested.
Research Experiential Course Credit (PSY 294-294; PSY 491-494)
Research assistants, if not funded through SOURCE, are eligible to earn course credit for participating in research (i.e., PSY 291-294; PSY 491-494). Registration must take place before the academic add/drop deadline each term. Reach out to Dr. Zaso if you are interested in obtaining course credit for more information on responsibilities and to obtain approval.
